Go Fly A Kite
We had so much fun yesterday. I have to say, right off the bat, that I have the most wonderful husband in the world. I’m sorry to all you other ladies out there, I know it can be tough settling for 2nd best . . . j/k. Joshua is perfect for me. He is so loving, kind, strong, godly, wonderful, steady, sensible, manly, etc. I could go on and on, but you don’t want to sit her for days, so I’ll leave it at that. We had a lot of fun. Joshua suggested that we go to the reservoir last night. We walked around this large pond or small lake, whichever you want to call it. The wind was blowing perfect for kite weather and I had picked up this little thing at a yard sale, it was pretty expensive little kite but I got it for $1! Isn’t God good? And no, I didn’t barter them down this time. I KNEW that was a fair deal! As soon as you let the kite out of her hand it whooshed up in the air. It was a lot of fun watching my husband play with the kids and show off his incredibly strong muscles! I love him so much! After a what seemed like only a few minutes of kite flying Joshua showed Abby how to throw rocks, skip rocks and other such fun things. Andrew enjoyed just watching and eating his sunglasses he was supposed to be wearing! After that we went home and played some more. Joshua held Andrew and had him in stitches in just a few minutes. He kept playing with Abby telling her he took her nose and traded it with Andrew’s nose. She freaked out! He tried the ear also, but she wanted HER ear, not brudder’s! After that Abby and I made an apple pie together and we all watched Walker together. You know it was a good day, because I am posting almost every picture I took. I usually shoot and shoot pictures and hope for the best, you know, maybe 2 or 3 but this day, the weather was right, the subjects were cooperative, not to mention that one hunk of a handsome husband! It was a good day! It could not have been more perfect! Well, I hope you enjoy the day as much as we did and . . . go fly a kite!

I love silohute pictures. This is not a true one, but they are so expressive! Abby was being an exceptionally good model this day!

We seriously could not have asked for a better kite flying day! God is so good to us! He provides for all our needs, physically and spiritually and then gives us awesome little bonuses like this! Looking back on this, a million dollars would not have been even close to what this day gave us! Thank you Joshua for taking us there! You are a wonderful man!
Just to prove that I am here . . . I forced myself to get a picture taken!

Abby loved helping her daddy get the kite up in the air. It was a perfect day for kite flying. It took no more effort on our part than throwing it up in the air and hanging onto the string.
This was not a posed picture, although it could have been!

I love this picture. The way they are holding each other. It is too sweet! He is such a good father! You should have heard his message on Father's day. It was GOOD!

The Cleaning Princess

Abby loves to help. She really does a great job, seriously. She cleans the toilet as well as I can. She loves to help with the dusting and everything. I greatly encourage this, because I am looking forward to the day when she can really help. Yes, sometimes, she can be more of a hinderence than a help but the day is coming when that will be flipped. Oh, do you like the attention to detail on her part, all the way down to the pretty princess shoes? Isn't she just too cute? We love her so much. She is such a lot of fun! (That was bad English, I know, but it was how I was feeling!)

Uncle Daniel
Such a dashing young catch, for any single girl out there looking for a man who is wanting to serve the Lord with his life! If you want, I can give you his e-mail! Or give him your number! :o) Seriously, We were very priveleged to have Daniel stay with us this week! We had a wonderful time of fellowship and fun! We love you "Uncle Dannell". Abby walks to your room every morning, knocks on the door and asks where you are! We miss you and can't wait to see you again!

Abby in the Wedding

Danielle and Alan's wedding was absolutely beautiful! Nicolas was very handsome in his little tux. Abby and Dina were downright cute and the Bride was the most beautiful bride I've ever seen. We were so pleased to get to be part of the Mundy's big day! Thanks! We wish them the best of everything as they continue their life together! You guys are great!
P.S. Dawn, is there any way to get some pictures from the photographer? I would love some of Danielle, the flower girls and Nicolas, plus they were taking some great shots of Abby and her daddy at the wedding blowing bubbles. I would love some of those!

My Goodness How Time Flies . . .
It seems like the summer is going to be over before it starts!!! We have had a few exciting and very busy weeks. Abby was in a wedding in June, it was wonderful, the worst thing she did was try to bite the ring bearer before the wedding started, thankfully in the privacy of the nursery so the poor bride didn't have to see it and add to her stress. The ring bearer then turned to her and told her that that's not how we used our mouths and proceded to tell her, here I'll show you and kiss her. I don't have pictures of that up yet, but hopefully I will. I'm just now getting the promised zoo pictures up. We have a zoo pass for two years that someone in the church gave us! What a special blessing! Abby loves going to see the animals and every day when her daddy goes to church to work she says, Going to see the animals? He replies, yes. By the way, I've been informed that some people very dear to our hearts read our blog regularly, (Hi Pastor and Mrs. Sumner!) and that because these prestigous peoples read it, I need to work on my English! I hope it doesn't bother ya'll too much! I'm workin' on it . . . Really, I am! These pictures you see of the monkey, are kinda funny. Abby loves loves loves Curios George! She couldn't wait to go to the zoo to see the monkeys and she thought, feed the monkeys! We saved them for last! When we finally saw them she was elated, until this one, right by her head pointed his great big black finger at her, she lost it, screaming, terrified, not liking the monkeys after that! She's since gotten over it, still likes George, but is a little nervous when she's near the monkeys! Well, that's about all for now. The Murrays from Tennessee are here and I need to go be socialable. I hope you enjoy the long overdue pictures. Hopefully in the next few days I can steal away and post some more!
Even Andrew enjoyed the zoo!
